Objective

To offer the peoples of Antigua and Barbuda regardless of their age, mental or physical disability, the opportunity for social interaction, sailing and to enter a world filled with new sensory and physical experiences.

Currently

  • We have seven universal design dinghies suitable for those differently abled.

  • Based at the National Sailing Academy in English Harbour sailing from our purpose built dock.

  • Helping 85 people each week to experience the joy of sailing.

  • We have five local instructors trained and experienced with disabled sailing.

  • All our services are provided FREE.

  • Entirely funded by charitable donations.

The Future

  • We are only able to help a minority of disabled people on Antigua.

  • We need to outreach further and offer our services to more people with disabilities on these islands.

  • We also wish to increase our capacity to to help those with more severe disabilities.

  • Expand our fundraising programme to maintain and grow our services.

  • To reach out to the community and develop  a stronger presence.
